Your visitors have a phone. Not cash.

  • Cards and phones, not coins

Most travellers pay everything by phone. At the end of your tour or show, many have nothing to give.

  • “I will send it later” does not arrive

Once the group walks away, the moment is gone. A tip not given in ten seconds is a tip lost.

  • Foreign currency makes it awkward

Visitors hesitate, count coins they do not know, and give less than they intended.

How it works

Three steps. The first one only happens once.

  1. Show your code

Create your profile, print your QR code on a sign or a card, and keep it visible.

  2. People scan and tip

Your page opens in their browser, in their language. Two taps with the payment already on their phone.

  3. You get paid

Tips go to your bank account. You follow every tour or show from your phone.

What makes WaveTips different

  • The tip goes to you

People can cover the payment fee in one tap, so you receive exactly what they chose to give.

  • Tips that bring reviews

Right after tipping, guests are invited to review you. Happy people, asked at the right moment.

  • Speaks every language

The page adapts to the visitor’s phone language and accepts their usual payment methods.

Common questions

Do tourists need to download an app?

No. Scanning the QR code opens a web page. They pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card — like on any website.

How do I receive the money?

Tips are sent to your bank account by our payment partner. Before your first transfer, you verify your identity once, as required by European law.

How much does it cost?

Joining the beta is free. Pricing will be published before the public launch. Tippers can choose to cover the payment fee so you keep the full tip.

Is it safe for the people who tip?

Payments go through a regulated provider with strong customer authentication. WaveTips never sees or stores card numbers.
