How WaveTips works.
A QR code on one side, a web page on the other, and a regulated payment provider in between.
For the people who tip
Scan the code
With the phone camera. The page opens in the browser, in their language.
Choose an amount
Preset amounts or a custom one. An option lets them cover the payment fee.
Pay in two taps
Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, with the bank’s usual security check.
Say thank you twice
Leave a review or follow the guide or artist, if they wish.
For guides and performers
Create your profile
Your name, a photo, a short message, and the links to show after a tip.
Verify your identity
Once, with an ID document and your bank details. Required by European law.
Print your code
Download your QR code as a ready-to-print sign, a card or a sticker.
Receive your tips
Tips are transferred to your bank account. Every payment appears in your dashboard.
Security and trust
A regulated payment provider
Payments are processed by a licensed institution that complies with PCI DSS card security standards.
Strong customer authentication
Card payments go through the security check required in Europe — confirmation in the banking app.
No card data on our side
WaveTips never sees or stores card numbers. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Verified recipients
Every guide and performer verifies their identity before receiving money.
About fees
Every card payment has a cost, charged by banks and card networks. On small amounts like tips, it matters.
WaveTips lets the person who tips cover this fee with one tap. When they do, you receive exactly the amount they chose. Full pricing will be published before the public launch. Joining the beta is free.
See it in action before the end of 2026.
